In order to obtain Emirati citizenship and an Emirati passport, the UAE requires that foreign professionals have certain special skills that will help promote the development and prosperity of the UAE economy. These foreign professionals can be investors, medical professionals, scientists, artists, and others with special skills. If approved, the foreign professional can move to the UAE with their spouse and children.
